My blog is up and I am posting again. Random Musings of a Deranged Soul is a view of the world through my eyes and my experience. Somedays I just rant, others I analyze current events, sometimes I even try to be funny. Please, stop by, post a comment and well... stay awhile.

Prayers,

Motherhood is more complicated than I thought. Now that I have two little angels, it is hard to balance life you know especially that I work a full time job. My husband is really trying to have me stay at home. He said maybe in two years. We have to finish our basement first which is understandable. I appreciate all of his effort and hardwork. He is so hardworking.

Today, after a chiropractic visit, I found out from the doctor that I have this stiffed muscle in my shoulders area. He said that is the sign of being tired from working (especially a desk job). I agree. I am tired of sitting at a desk whole day 4 days a week.

I hope and pray that I can stay at home someday and take care of the kids. It will be less stress and then I can be in a better mood when I am with the little ones.

I was so impressed with my son last night. He was getting ready for bed so I brought the book, Goodnight Moon, to our bed to read to him. I thought the book was easy to read so I had him read it.

He read it so confidently. He was not reading fast but just fast enough for his age. He is only three. Some words like telephone, whispering, mittens, etc in the book are a little difficult so I taught him how to read them.

My son started reading when he was still two with the help of the program Your Baby Can Read.

This happened yesterday morning. I woke the kids up early to get ready for our chiropractic appointment. My daughter was just happy as a clam but my son was complaining. He was crying and said he did not want to get up. No matter what I said, he would say "no" to me. I got frustrated so I left him in his room. I gave him time to wake up. Later, he was quiet. I went back to his room to check on him. I asked him to get out off his bed. He got out. I asked if he was ready. He said, yeah. He then said, "Mama, I am so sorry about before" (maybe he meant earlier). I just giggled and called my husband about what he said. It was just so cute. It really made my morning.

We went to the Eleven Mile Reservoir, Colorado State Park on Mother's Day. It was such a good day. We had so much fun. The kids loved the wind. Mikey loved throwing rocks to the lake. Gabby was just satisfied to be there riding on daddy's back. It was so beautiful. It was the best Mother's Day so far for me.
