Motherhood is more complicated than I thought. Now that I have two little angels, it is hard to balance life you know especially that I work a full time job. My husband is really trying to have me stay at home. He said maybe in two years. We have to finish our basement first which is understandable. I appreciate all of his effort and hardwork. He is so hardworking.

Today, after a chiropractic visit, I found out from the doctor that I have this stiffed muscle in my shoulders area. He said that is the sign of being tired from working (especially a desk job). I agree. I am tired of sitting at a desk whole day 4 days a week.

I hope and pray that I can stay at home someday and take care of the kids. It will be less stress and then I can be in a better mood when I am with the little ones.

I was so impressed with my son last night. He was getting ready for bed so I brought the book, Goodnight Moon, to our bed to read to him. I thought the book was easy to read so I had him read it.

He read it so confidently. He was not reading fast but just fast enough for his age. He is only three. Some words like telephone, whispering, mittens, etc in the book are a little difficult so I taught him how to read them.

My son started reading when he was still two with the help of the program Your Baby Can Read.

This happened yesterday morning. I woke the kids up early to get ready for our chiropractic appointment. My daughter was just happy as a clam but my son was complaining. He was crying and said he did not want to get up. No matter what I said, he would say "no" to me. I got frustrated so I left him in his room. I gave him time to wake up. Later, he was quiet. I went back to his room to check on him. I asked him to get out off his bed. He got out. I asked if he was ready. He said, yeah. He then said, "Mama, I am so sorry about before" (maybe he meant earlier). I just giggled and called my husband about what he said. It was just so cute. It really made my morning.

Mikey, my son, is so cute. I don't know when or how he started asking those questions or how or where he learned them.

He asks me these questions quite often recently:

Are you happy?
Are you sad?
Are you upset?
Are you mad?

Whenever he sees me angry, he would ask me those questions. He is so cute. I usually feel better after he asks me.

(On how I can lose weight before the wedding)

My Sister-in-Law's wedding is going to be really soon. I am very excited for her and I can't wait. My plan is to lose some pounds for her wedding. I started walking with my family on Tuesday around the neighborhood but it got too cold. I also walked on my stepper and lost like 100 calories on Friday. I am not really consistent yet but I am planning to get into schedule.

Getting into the habit of exercising is also the other reason why I started to walk. It is not only healthy for me but it also gives me more energy everyday. I hope I can reach my goal. I still have to shop for my dress (My husband does too). The kids already have their cute outfits.

I was very hungry and I ate a lot of mashed potatoes, corn and meatloaf. We ate together on the table which was really nice. The four of us were having a good time. My son did not eat that much food from his dinner plate so Daddy helped him finish it. Daddy fed him when all of the sudden, he gagged. An unexpected puke express came out. My daughter almost got a shower of puke. LOL. The good news was that Daddy was quick enough to avoid the double gross moment. The bad news was I had to clean it because Daddy could not stand the smell. Arghh.

Yesterday was a very exciting day for my husband and I. He had a job interview and was offered the job that he had been waiting for.

He was so nervous and anxious the night before the interview. I could tell the emotion from his face and his action. He was stiffed, a little sad and looked like he was carrying a heavy burden. He was very worried about it.

I was at work on the day of his interview. I was praying and thinking about him while trying to work. I was not worried because I believed in him. I knew that he could do it. Then, I got an email from him. He said something like "the company got a new employee". "They offered me the job honey". I was so happy. I could not hide the happiness in my face. (My co-worker probably thought I was crazy). I went to the break room and called him to congratulate him. I heard his voice and he was so happy. I almost cried. (Yes, I am emotional).

Thank you Lord for this blessing that we've been waiting. He is happy. Now, I am happy (happier).

Smoke is in the house.

I started to heat the oil up in the pan so I could fry the beef lumpia. Then, I got so busy with the kids when the oil got too hot and started to produce smoke. OOhh, dear. That was so stup*d of me. I then opened the windows and turned our ceiling fan on to let the smoke out of the house.

Now, the house looks better.

Haircut: check.

My head feels lighter because I had a new haircut done. It is a lot shorter than what I am used to. It has layers and it is just below my shoulders. I love it. I was going to get a more edgy look but I got scared. I am not very adventurous.

I had a hard time yesterday at work. I was thinking about my baby girl who had fallen off the bed on Thursday night. I was so worried. It was hard for me to focus on what I was doing at work.

Thursday night was a nightmare. I put my baby girl on our bed to relax and get ready for her bed/crib. I stack the big pillows on each of her side and got her comfortable with our comforter. She was happy and not moving. I thought she would sleep any minute. I made her a bottle of milk to drink so she would sleep not hungry. She took it and held it for a while. Mikey was already in his jammies but did not want to go to his “big boy bed”. I asked him to come to our bed so we could all go to sleep together. (I needed to go to sleep early because I needed to wake up early the next day.) Suddenly, something came up in my mind. I thought I should have Mikey brush his teeth first. I got up and ask him to brush his teeth. We both went to the bathroom. I helped him brush his teeth, washed his mouth and hands and suddenly we heard the noise that I was afraid of. Gabby crawled and fell off the bed. She cried for maybe 30 seconds to a minute. I felt so horrible. I felt like I am such a bad mother. I looked for any swelling everywhere and could not find one. I held her and made the shhhhh sound to calm her down. Aaahhhh. We then went to bed. Later, Gabby was so restless in bed with us so I decided to put her in her crib before she falls again. She started to cry but DH was home (after work). I thought maybe DH would take care of her. I was like half asleep. It was maybe 2:30AM. I had to get up at 5:30AM.

At work, my mind was unable to relax. I felt really bad. I should have kept her with me in bed. I called my DH and asked him to check on her to see if she is okay. He said she is okay, playing and active. I told him to monitor on her or if she acts weird to let me know. I felt a little better after that.

Ah, I wish I could tell my daughter “I am very sorry”.

(This is a real conversation between myself and my son this evening while driving home.)

Mikey: Mama, I want to watch Sprout, okay?
Mommy: but I want to watch American Idol
Mikey: No mama, I want to watch Sprout
Mommy: but I want to watch American Idol, Mikey
Mikey: Maaamaaa, press 295 (Sprout's Channel on DirecTV)
Mommy: I want to watch American Idollll, Mikeyyyyy (just playing with him)
Mikey: No
Mommy: Why not?
Mikey: Because....
Mommy: Because what?
Mikey: Mama, No, I said

(I stopped talking. I was giggling deep inside. Oh, I think I say too much "Nos" to him.)

My kids are sick. I am not feeling well. The house needs some cleaning. I really don't know where to start. Blogging is my outlet right now so here I am writing this post.

I am off today and tomorrow. I am going to be working a new shift on Wednesday, two days from today. It will be very interesting. I have to wake up really earlier than what I am used to. I chose this shift because I thought this will be better for my family especially my kids. However, they are sick right now which is not a good start for the week. Gabby has a temperature and Mikey has this loose cough.

I don't know. I feel a little bit depressed. Maybe I should stand up, have a walk, run a little bit in the basement (there is a lot of room down there) and get my energy started.

I should be going.

This week will be the start of my new shift which is the 6:30Am-5:30Pm, four days a week. It will be good because I can stay with my kids one more day a week and I can save some gas and mileage in my car. The only disadvantage that I can think of right now is having a hard time waking up really early in the morning. I am hoping and praying that I can adjust to this.

Yeah!

I am just really upset today because my 1099-SA form from my insurance hasn't came yet. It has been 10 days and I am getting really worried. Since identity theft crimes are rampant these days, I decided to sign up for identity protection from LifeLock. I hope nobody steals my personal information. I really don't want it to happen. Who does?

Last year, I was notified by a Sprint rep stating about a fraudulent activity in my account. Somebody from Atlanta GA went online, somehow cracked my password and got into my account. He or she tried to open or add a new line under my name. The good thing was that Sprint was fast enough to notify me and waited for my confirmation. I never use my Sprint online account. That was probably a red flag right there to them. I immediately changed my PIN on the phone hoping it wouldn't happen again.

Later, maybe 2-3 months after the first activity, this hacker attacked again. I am not sure if it was the same person but the second hacker was also from Atlanta. This time, he or she ordered two new cellphones under my account. I was so mad, I called Sprint and asked them what happened. To tell the story short, I asked them to freeze my account so nobody (even myself) could order merchandise, change or manipulate my account information online. I probably won't sign up for a new contract with Sprint. It will be due next year.

Hopefully the letter from my insurance will show up in the mail tomorrow. If not, a dragon might have to call them and blow the fire of madness.

My husband and I had decided to have our dinner at mom's. He had planned to watch "24" that my mother-in-law recorded last night (He always misses this show because of work.). So, I went straight to mom's house after work to meet my "F". Oh, I was very tired and my head was throbbing. I just had this claim (documents) at work with the French language written all over it. It was horrible so that gave me the headache. (I had to use Yahoo to translate them...Ayayay).

There I was, walking towards the door and I could already hear the excitement.

My kids (it still sounds weird saying it) came running & crawling towards me. My son said "Mama!!!" and Gabby crawled with enthusiasm. It was so great. Then, I went to the living room and found my husband on the floor. WTF!, I meant WAF! Yes. What A Family! I felt some kind of relief after seeing them all.

My rock, my refuge, my strength, my wife.
I pray I am the man you hoped to marry,
My love, my drive, my strength, my life.
I pray I am the man you dreamed of.

I loved you as soon as I met you.
I've enjoyed having you at my side.
I loved you the first time I kissed you.
Our children, our joy and our pride.

Your strength is something I envy,
I pray I was worth the sacrifice,
To be by my side you left your family,
Who could have paid a greater price?

My rock, my refuge, my strength, my wife.
I pray I am the man you hoped to marry,
My love, my drive, my strength, my life.
I pray I am the man you dreamed of.

-I am very tired. I did not get enough sleep last night. Now, I feel like a zombie.

-We have this mandatory overtime at work for this week. There will be some extra money in the pocket but it just made my day today longer than normal.

-I got this headache, an annoying one. Arrrggghh

-The baby girl is already asleep. It is the big boy's turn to go to bed and be quiet.

-I just need some quiet time.

Hello my wifey's wonderful readers,

She asked me to write something, not too short and random, so I just thought I would say hello. I will be contributing here on occasion, usually something short sweet, and probably satirical. Feel free to ask me to write about things, or you can check out my totally random blog Random Musings of a Deranged Soul. I post there about once a year... or less... I work full time and am in school full time, so you can imagine... I have very little time.

God Bless!

I am finally done setting up this blog. This will be my first post. Have fun navigating and I'll write some more soon.
